63b Catering Services was not always so mobile. 63b was originally a restaurant on Brownston Street in Wanaka, before turning into a catering company 5 years ago.

Maxine started in the restaurant business on the Greek island of Paros opening her own Taverna. Upon returning to New Zealand 10 years ago she worked as a chef in several Wanaka restaurants before opening her own restaurant in December 1998 - which went mobile 5 years later.

Brent comes from a sales and marketing background. Having seen the light, he moved south 5 years ago. Brent has been involved in 63b Catering for two years, assisting Maxine in the kitchen. On the night, Brent takes a front of house role, keeping the evening running smoothly.
